A continent's memory shouldn't depend on luck.

Africa holds one of the richest heritages in the world: traditions passed down through generations, major literary works, historical figures, knowledge spanning centuries.

Much of that memory still exists on no server at all. Undocumented, scattered, held off the continent, or in formats nobody opens. What isn't accessible eventually disappears.

Technology is not a threat to tradition. Used rigorously, it is the most powerful means of transmission ever invented. We don't replace the keepers of memory. We give them global reach.
